The Educational and Documentation Center Pulverfabrik Liebenau in Lower Saxony researches the history and consequences of the Pulverfabrik Liebenau, a large NS armament facility with forced labor between 1939 and 1945, and provides comprehensive remembrance, education and memorial work. It is located at the Memorial and Educational Site Liebenau, which was opened in 2023 and is situated at the historical site of the former labor education camp. The focus is on the permanent exhibition "Forced Labor for War. The Pulverfabrik Liebenau 1939–1945", which presents the history of the factory, the people there and the technical and social aspects of gunpowder production during National Socialism.

The Documentation Center offers guided tours of the historical factory site and through the exhibition, workshops, educational programs for school classes, international youth encounters, as well as support for historical research in the archive and library. In addition, the supporting association has been engaged in scientific research, publications and memorial work since 1999, such as documenting the biographies of those affected, witness testimony work and international encounter projects.
